How far away is this location? It is about 85 miles from our studio in Metuchen, NJ, and it takes about an hour and a half to get there from the studio. It is about 13.5 miles west of Philadelphia.

Our May 21, 2006, workshop will start at 12:00 noon. You should plan to arrive between 11:30 am and 12:00 noon.

A note from Ross Watson, owner of the location:

Welcome to Glamour 101 at Frog Hollow. You should all be aware of some sensible limits. The property to the left (northeast) of the studio has young children. Our property line is the trees, not the post and rail fence. Boundaries to the NW are the telephone wires, but you could shoot in the nursery if no one is working there. Behind the main house there is a small rented house. You may work there, but not on the porch, please. You may shoot on the porch of the larger house. To the SW our line is a few feet into the trees. There are two houses back there; both with children. On the Southeast, the line is across the small stream.

Any shiny, three-leaved plant is poison ivy, beware. There are lots of walnuts underfoot. They are the size of tennis balls and are hard and slippery. Watch out for geese droppings! It seems like a lot of dos and don'ts but it will be far easier to return another time.

I am glad you  decided to come to Greg's shoot and ask you to remember that you are here for a few hours; we have been here 34 years!

No boom boxes please. Park in the nursery lot or the access roads on the way to the studio.

FROM CENTRAL AND NORTH NJ TAKING THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE:

• Take the NJ Turnpike South to exit 6 toward the PA Turnpike.
• Continue on the NJ Turnpike Extension for 5.1 miles.
• As you pass over into PA the road becomes the PA Turnpike West (I-276 West).
• Continue on the PA Turnpike West for about 25 miles.
• Merge onto I-476 South toward Philadelphia at exit 20 (just before exit 333, be sure to follow sign for I-476 South).
• Go about 7.4 miles to Exit 13 and bear right and merge onto Route 30 East.
• Go about 9/10 mile to the third or fourth traffic light and turn right onto Route 320 South (Sproul Road).
• Go 2.8 miles to the fourth traffic light and turn right onto Bryn Mawr Avenue.
• Go about 8/10 mile, pass Hunt Road, and turn left at SOUTH Hunt Road.
• Go to top of hill, turn right at mailboxes, go to end and bear left.
• Studio in on the left - DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS.
  

FROM POINTS SOUTH, INCLUDING DELAWARE AND MARYLAND, TAKING I-95 NORTH:

• Take I-95 North to exit 7 in Pennsylvania to get onto I-476 North (it only goes north from there)
• Go to exit 9 for Newtown Square/Broomall/Route 3.
• Bear left on the ramp and take Route 3 West.
• At the third or fourth traffic light turn right onto Route 320 North.
• Go 1 block and turn left at the 1st light to stay on Route 320.
• Turn left at the next light onto Bryn Mawr Avenue.
• Go about 8/10 mile, pass Hunt Road, and turn left at SOUTH Hunt Road.
• Go to top of hill, turn right at mailboxes, go to end and bear left.
• Studio in on the left - DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS.
