FROM NJ and POINTS SOUTH, TAKING THE GSP, TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE AND THE MERRITT PARKWAY:
From NJ take the Garden State Parkway north to its northern end. Continue north into NY State to the NY State Throughway (I-87 and I-287) and go East. Follow I-287/87 right across the Tappan Zee bridge. Right after the bridge toll take Exit 8 to continue on I-287 to Cross Westchester Parkway to New England. Stay on I-287 to Exit 9, Merritt Parkway North, to New England.
Continue on the Merritt
Parkway
North to exit 44. At the bottom of the ramp turn right onto Congress
Street
(note: take the first right off the ramp, do not go all the way to the
traffic light at the bottom of the hill. There is no street sign for
Congress
Street at this turn.) Continue on Congress Street for about 2 miles and
then turn left onto Hillside Road. Stay on Hillside for about 1.7
miles.
Do not get on Bronson Road at this time. You must stay on Hillside
until
you come to the stop sign, where Hillside Road joins Bronson Road (a
Texaco
gas station will be across the street at the "T" intersection). Turn
left
onto Bronson Road. Go straight about 2/10 mile and pass a sign on your
left that says “OAK LAWN CEMETERY and OGDEN HOUSE” (on the same board),
continue straight for a short distance and then turn right onto Warner
Hill Road. Go to the second house on the left, #57 is marked clearly on
the mail box as you can't see the house from the road. (Distance from
exit
44 to the house is about 4.1 miles)
FROM NYC, NJ and POINTS
SOUTH
(TRAVELING NORTH ON I-95)
TAKING THE NJ TURNPIKE,
THE GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE, AND I-95 NORTH:
From NJ take the NJ
Turnpike
North to I-95 North and follow the signs for the George Washington
Bridge.
Continue on I-95 across the GWB. I-95 becomes the Cross Bronx
Expressway.
Continue on I-95 North into Connecticut (or you can take a shortcut by
getting onto the Hutchinson River Parkway North and taking it until it
re-connects with I-95 just below the CT border. I-95 is the New England
Throughway at this point.) Take I-95 North into CT and get off at exit
19 (Center Street). Go straight through three stop signs (Southport
Racquet
Club will be on your right). Take a right onto Post Road. Pass the
entry
to I-95 and turn left onto Kings Lane (at the corner of Kings Lane is a
big building, 2960 Pequot Plaza). Go to the end of the lane and turn
right
onto Kings Road. Go straight at the intersection and it becomes Bronson
Road. Pass two nurseries on the left (Oliver’s and Greenfield Hill
Nursery).
Just past Greenfield’s turn left onto Warner Hill Rd. Go to the second
house on the left, #57 is marked clearly on the mail box as you can't
see
the house from the road. (Distance from exit 19 to the house is about 2
miles)

again
onto Black Rock Turnpike. You will go under the Merritt Parkway
underpass
- then turn right onto Congress Street. Continue on Congress Street for
about 2 miles and then turn left onto Hillside Road. Stay on Hillside
for
about 1.7 miles (do not stray at this time to Bronson Road, and further
down to Greenfield Hill Road). You must stay on Hillside until you come
to the stop sign, where Hillside Road joins Bronson Road (Texaco gas
station
will be on your right). Turn left onto Bronson Road around a little
grass
and flower island. Go straight about 2/10 mile and pass a big sign on
your
left that says “OAK LAWN CEMETERY” and “OGDEN HOUSE” (on the same
board),
go straight few more feet and turn right onto Warner Hill Road. Go to
the
second house on the left, #57 is marked clearly on the mail box as you
can't see the house from the road. (Distance from exit 44 to the house

TAKE THE TRAIN FROM NYC TO THE WORKSHOP:
Here's another way to get to the workshop from NYC and not have to deal with the traffic. You can take the MTA Metro North train to the Fairfield train station. The train leaves Grand Central Terminal at 10:07 am and arrives in Fairfield at 11:17 am. The cost from GST to Fairfield on Sunday (which is off-peak) should be $10.25 each way if you buy the ticket at the station. The Fairfield train station is about 5 minutes from the house. Let us know if you are coming by train and we will pick you up at the station. If you get to the station and need a ride to the workshop call us at the numbers below.
