The Borough of Metuchen is in Middlesex County, NJ. It is just 2.74 square miles  in area and is completely surrounded by the township of Edison. It is located 25 miles southwest of Manhattan and 2 miles west of the intersection of  the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. Its southern boundary is defined by Interstate 287 where the interstate changes into Route 440 and continues eastward into Staten Island (becoming the West Shore Expressway). The Borough is conveniently served by the New Jersey Transit Northeast Corridor Line from New York to Trenton with a stop at Main Street in the Borough's downtown. This station also serves as a connection point for many local New Jersey Transit bus routes with connections to Fords, Plainfield, Perth Amboy, Raritan, Piscataway and much of Edison. Newark International Airport is just 15 miles from Metuchen and Amtrak trains are accessible at Metro Park, the next station north on the New Jersey Transit Northeast Corridor Line.

Metuchen is easily reached by the NJ Turnpike (Exit 10), the Garden State Parkway (Exit 131), Interstate Highway 287 and Route 440, US Route 1, and NJ Route 27.

FROM NEW YORK CITY OR PHILADELPHIA BY TRAIN

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU TAKE THE TRAIN TO METUCHEN BE SURE TO SIT IN ONE OF THE MIDDLE CARS, DO NOT SIT IN THE FIRST OR LAST CARS. THE METUCHEN TRAIN STATION IS SHORTER THAN THE TRAIN, SO YOU CAN ONLY EXIT THE TRAIN FROM THE MIDDLE CARS ! ! !

• Take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 127 for Route 440 and I-287.
• Merge onto Route 440 West which becomes Route 287 North after 1.5 miles. 
• Go another 1.9 miles to exit 2A for Route 27 North / Metuchen.
• As soon as you get off the exit, you will come to a traffic light at Bridge Street.
• Turn left onto Bridge Street.
• Go to the end of Bridge Street and turn right  at the traffic light onto NEW DURHAM ROAD.
• You will immediately see another light. Turn left at this light onto John Street.
• Go to the end of John Street and turn right onto DURHAM AVENUE.
• You will immediately see a one-story industrial building on your left side. 
• Turn into the parking lot just past this building.
  
• Our studio is in the 3-story brick building on the right side of the parking lot.
• The building is tan and green with two dark brown doors with blue awnings - go to the door on the left. There is a sign to the right of the door that says "Building 1, Media Trends, Studio 212.
  
• Go through that door and up the stairs to the second floor. We are the door to the left of Media Trends.
  
• There is additional parking behind the building if there are no spaces near the door.

• Follow the ramp for Edison and Metuchen and turn right onto Route 27/Lincoln Highway.
• Go about 2.76 miles (about 7 traffic lights) and turn right at the traffic light onto Central Avenue.
• Go 2/10 mile to the first traffic light and turn left onto Durham Avenue.
• Go another 2/10 mile and turn right into the parking lot just after the road curves.
  
• As you pull into the parking lot there will be a  one-story building on your left and a 3-story brick building on your right.
  
• Our studio is in the 3-story brick building - on the right side of the parking lot.

• Go 7/10 mile and turn left into the parking lot just past a one-story industrial building.
• As you pull into the parking lot there will be a  one-story building on your left and a 3-story brick building on your right.
