Photography:
I have been involved in photography
since
1972 and have been working full-time in the field since 1977. Since
1983
I have been a partner or principle in a number of commercial
photography
studios in the Union County, NJ, area. In August, 2003, I moved into a
new studio in Metuchen, NJ, with two partners. Click

public relations,
commercial/industrial,
publicity headshots, and glamour.

I spent 10 days
in March, 2003, in Jamaica shooting productions stills for the reality
pilot "Natural
Beauties of Hedonism III". We also shot a pilot for a woman's pro
pool/celebrity show in Las Vegas. We have also shot segments for the TV
show Steel Wheels in Indianapolis.

I shot for "the
world's premier professional event photography service". I would go to
different
events, mostly class reunions, and shoot photos of the participants.

would then post the photos on their web site where they could be
ordered
directly. This company is no longer in business.
SBP: 1999 to May 2000
I started working semi-full time (while
continuing my freelance work) as Director of Marketing for a company
that supplies emergency power
in 1999 after having them as a commercial client for my photography
business
for many years. As Marketing Director at this company my duties
included building
and maintaining their web site, marketing research, photography,
working
with graphic artists and layout artists, ad placement, and computer
tech
support.
Fram
Trak Industries, Middlesex, NJ: 1999
- present
Fram Trak does custom plastic extrusion
and injection molding. I have shot photos of their factory and
employees
in operation and their finished products for their annual report,
literature,
and web site.
Union
County College, Cranford, NJ:
1986 -
I have done much public relations
photography
for Union County College including almost all the photos in three of
their
course catalogs, photos for their brochures, press releases, and
newspaper
ads.
Cranford
Chronicle,
Cranford, NJ: 1977-1990
As a freelance photographer I did most
of the photography for this local independent weekly newspaper from
1977
till it was bought out by Forbes Newspapers in 1990. My assignments
included
editorial, human interest, advertising, pictorial, and special effects
photography. During my 13 years as their main photographer I received a
total of 22 awards from the NJ Press Association and the Society of
Professional
Journalists. I also did some writing for them.
New Jersey
Epicure
Magazine: 1977-1980
I was staff photographer and photo
editor
of this gourmet food magazine during its four years of publication and
did all of their in-house photography including the shooting and
styling
of cover photos, photography for use in ads and editorial photography.
I also did some writing for them.
Contempra
Communications,
Tinton Falls, NJ:
I was hired full-time as head of the
photo
department of this advertising agency after working for them on a
freelance
basis for a few years. They specialized in multi-media slide shows and
print advertising. I did all of their in-house photography including
product
and location shots, titles and special effects for multi-projector
slide
shows, Kodalith processing, and video operation.
Teaching:
I have run the Greg Price
Glamour
Photography Workshop since 1991 and have had over 250 workshops as
of April,
2008. I have done a number of programs for the Cosmopolitan Chapter
of the Photographic Society of America. In 1995 I taught a staff
development
course for the Public Relations Department at Union
County College.
Clubs

Professional
Organizations:
I was Secretary and Newsletter
Editor of the Advertising Photographers of New Jersey (formally the
New Jersey Society of Commercial Photographers) for 8 years. As
secretary
some of my duties included setting up and managing their database of
photographers,
recruiting new members, taking minutes of executive board meetings, and
to help organize and run general meetings. As newsletter editor my
duties
included writing articles, page layout, ad design and placement, and
overseeing
the printing and distribution of the newsletter. The monthly newsletter
ran from 8 to 20 pages and had a circulation of about 1500.
In the past I have also been active
on
the camera club circuit and was vice-president of the Garden State
Camera
Club (Roselle Park, NJ) for 2 years. I have presented
multi-projector
slide programs on special effects photography, gave demonstrations on
studio
lighting techniques, and have lectured on the business of photography
at
camera clubs throughout the state. I have also judged photographic
competitions
for camera clubs, church groups, and a local hospital.
Art

Exhibits:
In the past I have done my own printing, matting,
and framing and have exhibited my fine-art photography at many outdoor
art shows throughout New Jersey and have won numerous awards including
10 “First Place” awards and 1 “Outstanding” award.
I have also had my work displayed at
a
number of indoor spaces including the Ultimate Image Gallery
and Kusiv
Color Lab in Cranford, the Cranford Library, Tony's Cafe
in Cranford, and I have had five shows at the Cranford Dramatic Club.

Film
Cameras:
I have expertise in the following camera
formats: 35mm, 645, 6x7, and 4x5. I have a Minolta 700si with the
following
lenses: 28-80mm zoom, 70-210mm zoom, 16mm fisheye, 20mm super-wide
angle,
and 55mm macro. I also have a Mamiya 645 with an 80mm and a 150mm lens
and a Nikon N80.
Digital
Cameras:
Nikon D-200 and D-70 bodies, 24-120
zoom, 12-24 zoom, and a 10.5mm fisheye lens.
Lighting:
An assortment of Alien Bees studio strobes including two B400 heads and
four B800 heads.
Darkroom:
In the past I had done my own black and white film developing and
printing for many years, including printing for myself and all the
other photographers who worked for the Cranford Chronicle for the 13
years that I was their main photographer. Since I switched over to
digital I no longer do any darkroom.
Video:
Sony TRV-85 Hi8 video camera. JVC Mini
DV Digital Video GR-DVL520u camera. I also have a S-VHS video deck.
