WORKSHOP # 129, JULY 22, 2001
WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ

Workshop Notes: Our July workshop was held at a new location. The site is a 22-acre estate in Hunterdon County, NJ, that was formally a farm. It is now owned by a graphic design/web design/web content company. The site worked out perfect for our workshop - it has lots of shooting areas, plenty of space for parking, it's hidden from the neighbors, it's easy to get to, and it's not too far away for most of us.

Some of the shooting areas that we used were the barn, a wooden fence behind the barn, another wooden fence in front of the barn, and the front door of the house. We had a classic blue Corvette and 1 or 2 motorcycles to use as props, and one of our photographers brought a cello and some other musical instruments.

We had 5 models and about 21 photographers, giving us a 4:1 photographer to model ratio. All the models did nudes. Karen and Lisa each did a one-on-one session after the workshop. We had a barbecue with cheeseburgers, hotdogs and potato salad, soda and bottled water. Tom from Fivestar and one of his friends volunteered to do the grilling.
