MODELS WANTED FOR GLAMOUR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS AND OTHER PROJECTS
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Workshop models must be female, at least 18 years old, reliable, and photogenic. I am primarily looking for models in the NJ/NY/PA/CT area, and those who will be visiting this area. We pay $150 (sometimes higher for high-profile models) per workshop (4 hours) for nudes (either artistic nudes, Playboy style, or erotic - whichever style you are comfortable doing); or $100 for topless; or $75 for lingerie or implied nude; or $50 for bikini. After the open session of the workshop we schedule one-on-one private sessions. You can earn an extra $40 for each half-hour session that you are booked. We have a total of 6 half-hour sessions per workshop. We cannot afford to pay travel expenses, but if you are planning a trip to this area let us know and we will book you for when you are here. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are held on Sundays at our studio, Studio 212, in Metuchen, NJ, and start at 12:00 noon. You need to arrive at the studio at 11:30 am and be ready to start modeling at 12:00 noon. The workshop goes to about 4:00 pm, at which time we break for lunch. We order lunch from a local Italian restaurant and you may have pizza or order from the menu. You will not be charged for lunch. We also have beverages and snacks available during the workshop. After lunch we start the private one-on-one private sessions. Photographers may sign up in advance for these sessions or during the workshop. You will be paid $40 for each session that you do. We've recently added an outdoor location that we will make use of during the warmer months. It is a tree farm called Tucked Away Farms, in Califon, NJ. Click here for details about this location. We can shoot both indoors and outdoors at this location and will usually have a barbecue at the end of the open session. All other info is the same as for our studio workshops. You can earn extra money by recruiting photographers for the workshop. For each photographer you recruit you will be paid $50. It must be photographers who have not previously attended the workshop. We do not usually use a MUA, so you will need to do your own hair and makeup. You should bring your own outfits with you; on some occasions we may provide you with outfits. You will be paid in cash at the end of the workshop. You may receive images from the photographers who attend the workshop but they are not obliged to do so since you are being paid for the workshop. You will be required to sign our workshop limited model release for the open session portion of the workshop and you may be asked to sign a standard release for private sessions. Click here for more info about our workshop model release. You will also be required to sign a 2257 Records Keeping Compliance Form to comply with federal law. You must have at least one form of government-issued ID with you that indicate that you are over 18 years of age. Your primary ID must be a government issued passport, driver's license, motor vehicle department ID, or military ID, and must have a photo. MORE INFO: Please note that all models
are required to sign our workshop
limited model release (with no modifications) for the open session
portion of the workshop and
are encouraged to sign a standard
model release for private one-on-one sessions. See the link below for
more info about model releases. Click here
for more info about
one-on-one sessions. EVENTS FOR MODELS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS IN EXOTIC LOCATIONS: In the past few years I
have run some events for
photographers
and models in exotic location around the world. In March, 2003, I
teamed up with Hal to do a shoot at Hedonism III
in Jamaica
with 9 models, including 3 of our
regular workshop models. In August, 2003, we ran a photo shoot cruise
for
photographers and models in the San Blas Islands off
the coast of
Panama and
South Beach, Florida. We used 13
models, including Penthouse Pet Andrea Mountjoy and Playboy
model Kelly Kole. I hope to do more of these type of events in the
future. In January, 2004, I went to
Hollywood
with Hal and we met with Zalman King, creator of the Red Shoes Diaries
and director of 9 1/2 Weeks and Wild Orchard, and his new show,
Forty-Deuce, on the Bravo network. We scheduled a screen
test with him for one of our models that we brought with us to
California, and he was interested in working with us on a number of
projects. Check out some photos from this meeting at http://www.glamour101.com/zal.html. Since then we have shot a
pilot with Zalman King for a
pro/celebrity pool show with the world's best professional female
billiards players, and celebrities like Paul Sorvino. I hope to post
some photos from that shoot soon. One of the projects
that we are considering is an
All-Model Bowling Team Reality Show. We have done some preliminary
casting and a photo shoot. Check out some of the photos at http://www.glamour101.com/team.html. OTHER PROJECTS: We also need models for other projects, including web site content, magazine layouts and videos. I will be happy to arrange for free testing for qualified applicants. I also work with some other photographers who hire models for calendars, greeting cards, magazine assignments, and videos and I can refer you to them for additional work. BACKGROUND INFO:
Hi, my name is Greg Price.
I am a
well-established
full-time professional photographer and have had a photography business
in
Central
New Jersey for over 25 years. In August, 2003, I opened Studio 212
in Metuchen, NJ, that I now share with a few other photographers. I
have
earned
numerous awards for my photojournalism and fine-art photography. I am
also
the director of the Greg Price Glamour Photography Workshop (aka the
Glamour101 workshop) which I
established
in 1991 and we had about our 300th workshops in May. Click
here to view my full resume. Some of our workshop models
have gone on to do Playboy
Magazine,
Playboy TV, Maxim, FHM, and other magazines. About
75% of our models do nudes, but we also
routinely use
models in all other categories. Payment is based on category modeled at
the
open session of the workshop. Payment for private sessions
is the same for all categories. Note that you can model at a
higher category for private sessions to encourage more bookings, but
you will be paid based on the category that you did at the open
session. It
would
not be unusual for a model
doing nudes at the workshop to earn up to $390 if she
booked 6 private sessions. One high-profile model earned $700 at a
workshop. Some of the high profile models we have used in the past
include Anita
Blue, Laurie
Wallace, Charlie
Laine, Kelly
Kole, Andrea Mountjoy and Tracy Ann Bancroft.
Some of our recent high profile models include Sativa
Verte, Sabrina
Starr, Valerie
Whitaker, Melissa Troutt, Carlotta,
Renee
King, Kerri Taylor, and Tiana. CLICK
