We will have a very special pre-workshop lighting seminar/demonstration at this Sunday's workshop by my former studio partner Jim Roselli. He will demonstrate the Broncolor Para FB (parabolic umbrella) hooked up to an Elinchrom 2400 WS power pack. The umbrella is about 10' wide. He will set up in Studio D, the only space in our studio big enough to accommodate this setup.

The seminar will go from about 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. This is a very high-end piece of equipment and this will be an excellent opportunity to use some equipment that you probably would not have the chance to use otherwise. You will probably be able to take photos using this equipment during the seminar, and it will be available for us to use during the open session of the workshop.

During the seminar Jim will have his camera tethered to his laptop computer, so you will be able to see the images right after he shoots them. One of our favorite models, LeeAnn, will be our demo model.
