OF
STUDIO
This is Studio A. This was originally two smaller rooms that we had the dividing wall and one of the doors removed. The ceiling was raised to 9'4". The room has 2 large new windows, approx. 5'x7' each, which provide great natural light (this photo was taken at night and features the old windows). The far wall and half of the adjoining wall are painted gold. The area around the far window is now painted red. The wall around the other window and the wall on the right is now painted tan. The floor is covered with a light color commercial grade carpet. The photo below is taken from the opposite end of the room and shows two of our painted canvas backgrounds in use. That is a Bogen SuperBoom in the middle of the space with an Alien Bees B800 head and a 22" beauty dish. View of Studio A with late afternoon
daylight
PHOTOS BY GREG PRICE This is Studio D - it has a 21' cyc
wall at one end. This room is 34' x 21'4", almost as big as
studio A and B combined. We had the original doors removed and a double
door installed right in the center of the long wall. We also had the
drop ceiling removed and the fluorescent lights repositioned close to
the ceiling.
The ceiling height is about 16'. The cyc wall is on the right side of
the room as you enter by the double doors, allowing the photographer to
get as far back from the subject as necessary. The wall on the left in
the above photo is now painted yellow, and red, then white. The other
end of the
room has a black wall and floor.
This is our set of Alien Bees studio
lights. We now have ten B800's, two B400's, and an AB Ringlight. We
have a selection of softboxes and umbrellas. We
also have two 22-inch "Beauty Dish" pan reflectors. two white shovel
background reflectors, 7-inch reflectors, grids, light stands, booms,
tripods, etc. We also have a set of
PocketWizard radio transmitters and a set of Alien Bees CyberSync
Trigger Transmitters. You can use these instead of sync cords to fire
the flash units.
